Workflow
A cleaner workflow for client photo selection
Replace filenames, screenshots and chat messages with selections made inside the gallery.
The slow part of album selection is rarely clicking the heart icon. It is reconciling screenshots, filenames and messages sent across several days and several family members.
Keeping selections inside the gallery gives both photographer and client one shared source of truth.
Make the rules visible before selection starts
Tell clients how many images they can choose, whether they can revise the list and what happens after submission. A visible limit is easier to work with than a surprise message after they have selected too many photographs.
Close the loop
The photographer needs a usable export with image identity and selection state—not another gallery screen to manually copy from. The best workflow connects delivery, selection and the next production step without changing filenames along the way.
- Preserve original filenames.
- Allow revisions until the photographer locks the list.
- Export selections in a format the editing workflow can consume.
- Keep print requests and comments associated with each photo.
